You hit the nail on the head with the Medabots influence! There might be a bit of Digimon, prolly, but i was never too big into that series lol
There IS, however, some influence from the Megaman Battle Network series, with the device Hikaru (the kid) has on his arm

Glad you like it! The idea was that the humans went extinct and some animals advanced, so they use some of the old tools, but now I expanded on that
