I very much enjoyed the softer, ambient tune. Makes me think of space travel.

Geoplex responds:

Thanks, me too :P

I like it, but...

The only qualm I have is that it's in the Video Game section. This isn't from any video game, this is a classic power ballad. xD

Great remix anyway. These 8-bit renditions may be simple, but they have their charm.

9/10, 4 in the Portal.

pheel responds:

I just put it in Video Game because of the 8bit sound :P

But thanks for the comments
and thanks for reviewind :D

IT'S A TRAP!

I know, tired meme is tired, but it had to be done.

Trap Factory was always my favorite. This excellent cover is second only to ZXA's "Trap Phantasm," in my opinion.

Zero-Resurrected responds:

If you liked this and Trap Phantasm, check out "Trap Fanatics" off the Rockman ZX Gigamix album.

Mind = BLOWN

Ingenious. That's what it is, sheer ingenuity.

All hail the almighty Mustang!

pookicker responds:

I thank you for your open ear!

Fuckin'. Saved.

Need I say more?

Realmguys responds:

Thank you so very much for the compliment! I appreciate it.

Perfect.

I'm pretty sure you can't improve it anymore. In fact, please don't try to. This is perfect as-is. During the first five seconds my mouth literally fell open.

10/10, 5 in the Portal. Rock the fuck on. .\m/

DarKsidE555 responds:

That's what I'm thinking as well. I don't want to sound like a snob there but there isn't much I could do with it. Maybe altering the drums a little and adding a voice sample from the japanese version of MMX4, which I searched for...but failed. :(

Other than that, there isn't much I could do with it. Anyways, thanks for the support man! Appreciated for sure! :D

Fuck. Yeah.

Holy shit. This is just flat-out, hard-fretting, ear-busting goodness that just makes you want to jack up the volume so high it ruins your hearing. I absolutely love the incorporation of MMX sound effects. This might be one of your best works yet.

10/10, 5 in the Portal.

DarKsidE555 responds:

Definitely! Not only that I learned a bit more about mastering, I managed to get some things better like the bass and the drums for example. Though, there is still more room to improve in.

Anyways, thanks a lot for checking and voting dude! \m/

A moving piece!

I say "moving" in the sense that it really strikes the nerves and gets you drumming your feet or your fingers as you listen to it. I actually got goosebumps as I listened to this; it sounded like tension building higher and higher with a sudden, well-placed 'pause' at 00:38. In Dark Cut 2, it fit the level it was placed in to a tee.

MaestroRage responds:

Dark Cut 2 was indeed quite a marvelous game, and though the song fit it well, we mustn't forget that it was the visuals that really brought out the songs power :D! At least in my opinion.

The tensive energy you feel was exactly what I was hoping to achieve. This track was originally made for a tribal boss fight for Castle Crashers. And of course, tense energy was an absolute must for it.

In any case, thank you for the review, i'm glad you liked it!

So righteous it hurts. \m/

Your remixes are what make me like the Classic Megaman music at all. You fuckin' rock, just like this song.

5 and 10.

ZombiePosessor responds:

Sweet-ass. I love it.

Very cool!

Nice remix of White Land! I like it!

VGman2005 responds:

Thanks. I was iffy on using rock instrumetns, as the F-Zero X Guitar CD already covered that. But it really doesn't loop like this one does, so now, people can use a White Land guitar mix in their flashes.
